TIDBITS from around the Web Updated 12-23-2016

Update- the muslum MURDERER who attacked dozens of Christmas shoppers with a truck in Berlin has been SENT TO HELL in a shootout with two Italian police officers, one of whom was wounded. God bless the Police all over the world, who protect us everyday.

Conservatives Do Not Understand Liberals
We think entirely differently.
Conservatives have for years labored to explain facts and ideas to Leftists. They have tried to reach out, be bipartisan, compromise, and find some area of overlap or commonality. After all, we all want what is best for our nations and people, right?

In that assumption, we see the flaw of conservative understanding of Leftists, which starts with the grim fact that while conservatism and Leftism both operate as ideologies, only Leftism finds its basis inideology. Where conservatism is based on time-proven best results, Leftism contains a single idea, which is “equality,” and from that all of its other ideas branch out.

Conservatives find difficult to understand that this means that for a Leftist, what is ideologically true is more important than what is true in reality.

Because Leftists think in moral terms of good/bad exclusively, this means that for them, Reality is bad and ideology is its opposite, presumed to always be “good.”

Leftists do not fail to notice reality; they are bigoted against it. For them, reality is only a good thing when it can be made to coincide with ideology, and otherwise it must be suppressed because it is bad. This means that they filter out any facts or logic which does not agree with their ideology. It also means that they are spending no time on understanding reality, and all of their time in the bubble of ideology.

Trump's Challenge to 'One China' Is Playing with Fire

  • Since the phone call, Trump has taken several other actions that have produced a dangerous chill in U.S.-China relations. Most notably, he appears to be challenging the foundation of that relationship, the fuzzy but very real “One China” policy. In so doing, Trump not only risks getting his administration off to a terrible start with a major trading partner and foreign creditor, but he has created the conditions for an exceptionally dangerous security crisis in East Asia.

Quote- "When President-elect Donald Trump took the congratulatory telephone call from Taiwan’s President Tsai Ing-wen on December 2, he violated a strict protocol that had been in place for more than three decades."
Put in place by communist leader Jimmy Carter, who never met a commie dictator he didn't lust for in his heart, possibly due to the fact that he, like Obama, was never quite 'bright' enough to be President.
Trump has no obligation to shun our friends and potential allies due to the preferences and whims of a red-filled State Department and a bunch of globalists, especially if they are contrary to America's interests.
Most Americans are completely unaware of the "nuance's of US policy regarding Taiwanese independence via the "One China" policy. I don't find Trump's comment at all surprising. He doesn't overestimate the intelligence of his supporters. They want a muscular foreign policy no matter the threats it might involve (though not to them or anyone they know personally). His advisers want more defense spending and Trump's bellicose statements will increase international threats and thus support that spending.

Compare Trump's "bellicose statements" to Obama's and Hillary's recent statements about Russia. Trump, and his voters, want no war with Russia, and only an economic war with China. The muscular foreign policy is first and foremost to crush ISIS and to restore rationality to foreign trade.
Trump is far more lucid than many give him credit for.
As far as the intelligence of Trump's supporters, you seem to be speculating based on rather skimpy information.
Not to be the 'grammar police', but strictly speaking, your punctuation usage leaves a little to be desired. Quotation marks are to denote words being quoted from a referenced statement, as I did in my first line. They are also used in pairs. One more thing- apostrophes are not needed to denote the plural of a word. You may be over estimating something about yourself. Not that I would make a big issue of it, though. Word up, Dude ! We can still be buddies. ;-] Your friend, Loog Moog (a Trump supporter).
Ten of the Media's Most Stupid Moments of 2016

10. After Donald Trump’s underdog victory, many in the media looked for scapegoats. But Comedy Central’s Samantha Bee went the furthest — blaming white people for “ruining” America.
9. Hillary notoriously avoided direct questions from the press all year. So when Lester Holt became one of the few to somehow score a sit down with Mrs. Clinton, his softballs-only interview was journalistically humiliating.
8. Cuba’s long time dictator expired this year, and many in America’s media … mourned.
7. Perhaps not historically significant, but a particularly comical case of media malpractice came when an enchanted Andrea Mitchell breathlessly recapped the “magical” evening she was having at a Hillary rally.
6. Over on PBS, David Brooks and David Corn somehow connected the dots between Ted Cruz and Satan.
5. After the devastating mass slaughter in Orlando, the media embraced its unfortunate habit of speculating where things went wrong — looking everywhere, it seemed, besides Islamic terrorism.
4. After another tragedy — this time an alligator snatching a toddler from a Disney World beachfront — CNN’s Brooke Baldwin thankfully had the presence of mind to ask a local animal expert … what the alligator was thinking.
3. On MSNBC, the now-canceled Melissa Harris Perry worried that Flint, Mich., might become Obama’s … Fugitive Slave Act?
2. After Orlando, many progressive congressmen staged a sit-in on the floor of the House of Representatives. The media, you might be unsurprised to discover, went absolutely bananas with delight.
1. If there was one thing the media was absolutely sure of in 2016, it was …
Hillary Clinton’s inevitable landslide victory. Whoops.
BLOOD on Merkel's hands...WHERE is the murderer ?

ISIS tonight claimed responsibility for the Berlin Christmas market massacre as German police continued to hunt for the killer amid warnings a second terror attack in the city could be imminent.
The terror group hailed the lorry driver - who murdered 12 people and injured at least 48 others - a 'soldier' and praised him for 'targeting nationals of the coalition countries'.
It means the killer lorry driver remains on the loose and armed with a gun.

A security services source, a senior police officer, told die Welt newspaper: 'We have the wrong man. The true perpetrator is still armed, at large and can cause further damage.'

Thanks for letting 60 Million Trump voters know that you already have enough customers (and money).
I will be happy to help spread the message. Now you can too !

In a controversial election, President-Elect Donald J. Trump has beaten down stiff competition from “netflix”, “vegan” and “deportation” to be chosen as “sign of the year” by the Swiss Deaf Association.

Floren, as he likes to be called, has sliced ham for a number of celebrities, including President Barack Obama, Robert De Niro, or David Beckham, and for his majesty King Juan Carlos of Spain. He has performed his jamon-slicing art at the Oscars, Hollywood private parties and at casinos in Las Vegas and Macau. Throughout the year, he follows the Formula 1 circuit, cutting ham for VIPs in the paddocks and lounges of the top racing teams. The 55-year-old is regarded as the world’s best ham slicer in the world, and he charges accordingly for his services – a reported $4,000 to slice a leg of ham.  “I think it is quite wrong for a ham cutter speak English,” he says     .http://marginalrevolution.com
