Hillary’s e-mail defense is ‘total BS’: former State Dept. officials

Former State Department security officials don’t buy Hillary Clinton’s latest alibi that she couldn’t tell that government e-mails — which she improperly, if not illegally, kept for several years on an unsecured home server — contained top-secret information because they lacked official markings and weren’t classified until later.
Such messages contain sensitive “keywords” distinguishing them from unclassified information, even if the material didn’t bear a classified heading as she claims.
The secretary would have known better, the department officials say, because she was trained to understand the difference when she was “read in” on procedures to ID and handle classified information by diplomatic-security officials in 2009.
Clinton also went through a so-called “read-off” when she left office in 2013. In that debriefing, security officials reminded her of her duty to return all classified documents, including ones in which the classification status is “uncertain,” which would have included the e-mails stored on her private server — which she only this month turned over to authorities. The read-off would have included her signing a nondisclosure agreement.
“Once she resigned as secretary, she needed to return classified documents and other government-owned documents, which in this case would have included the server,” veteran Diplomatic Security Service Special Agent Raymond Fournier said.
US intelligence officials so far have determined that at least four — and as many as 305 — of the more than 30,000 e-mails Clinton and her aides have printed out and turned over to investigators were classified at the time they were written.
They include a 2011 message from Clinton’s top aides that contains military intelligence from United States Africa Command gleaned from satellite images of troop movements in Libya, along with the travel and protection plans for Ambassador Christopher Stevens, who was later killed in a terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya. Another staff e-mail sent to Clinton in 2012 contained investigative data about Benghazi terrorist suspects wanted by the FBI.

How to save $moola$ on entertainment by ditching satellite or cable TV- UPDATED post

There have been many articles on the nets urging you to stop watching television because of its harmful effects on your children and on the adults who watch it. This is NOT one of those articles.
Most people enjoy watching TV and movies. I will tell you how to do it for less money or NO money per month.

A while back, I ditched cable for satellite TV. When I signed up, they gave me a low introductory price and 150 channels, mostly junk, and said that it would go up after one year. When I asked how much, they said "A few bucks".
So a year goes by, and they raise the price by $5 per month. No problem. Then last week, I got an email saying that my service would be disconnected for non-payment. I had a setup with my bank to automatically pay the satellite company $40 per month including tax. So I checked with my bank, and found that due to a technical error, they had not been paid. OK, so I called the satellite company and was informed that I owed them $248.

Why ? Three reasons. 1- the unpaid balance, which is perfectly fine.
2- They said that I had added NFL Sunday Ticket, which was a problem, because I had not. And 3-
because my monthly bill was now $77 plus tax. Big problem.
I talked to two reps before getting the straight scoop. They said that they had added NFL Sunday ticket to everyone's package and that we had to opt out. OK, so I opted out.

Long story-short. I got on the internet, specifically on Google, to see what alternatives were out there.
I found Google Chromecast, ROKU, Apple TV, and a couple others. I had no idea that these existed.
One problem-  I have an old GE console model TV from around 1899. Well, maybe 1989.
I found a ROKU unit at Wal Mart (ROKU 1) for $48 that allows me to watch TV for FREE.

You must have an internet connection. The internet connection to the unit is wireless. It picks up the signal from my router BETTER than my computer does (no loss of signal.) The unit is the size of a McDonald's hamburger. It has a 120V  AC power adapter. It hooks up to older TVs that have RCA jacks, (cables supplied) like a stereo. Other ROKU models work with newer TVs.
It has a remote control (batteries included.) I ran right out and got one immediately. I had it hooked up in about 10 minutes. Then I began exploring the many, many channels. And connecting by typing in my email address and password. Several times, for several channels, though some channels do it for you.
Note- my girlfriend, who is not technically-minded EITHER, mastered it in a half an hour.

It is wonderful.
ROKU DOES NOT send you a monthly bill. There are FREE channels, and pay channels. You can get live 24 hour SKYnews and CBS news channels and there is an NBC channel and a Wall Street Journal one that I have not checked out yet. There is a Fox News channel that gives you videos from their news shows, but nothing live.
ROKU claims that there are over 2000 channels, and I have not counted them, but I believe them.
Some channels (most of the free ones) have commercials, but there is Netflix /$8.99 per month/and Amazon Prime/$99 per year/, which I already subscribed to, which are commercial-free.

There are many Christian channels and children's channels.
I found my favorite TV show, "Cadillacs and Dinosaurs" on Amazon.
And there is I-Heart radio, and Tune-In radio, where I found a gun talk show called LOCK AND LOAD, and much, much more. I have had it for a few days and I love it. So far, I have watched 24, Firefly, the History and Smithsonian channels, and some movies. And best of all, they will NOT be sending me a bill.
And there is no buffering except between shows.  The picture quality even on my ancient TV is excellent. Noticeably better than the satellite service.
Roku says that they have added 59 channels JUST THIS WEEK.

This is my opinion, given freely without payment of any kind. My opinions can change at any time, but if they do, I will try to keep you informed. Your mileage may vary. Substantial penalty for early withdrawal. If death occurs, stop taking immediately. Must be THIS tall to ride this ride. Not available in parts of Upper Mongohelia. Always wear protective gear.

Update on massive Chinese blast...

Hundreds of families have fled their homes amid fears a cocktail of deadly chemicals had been spewed into the atmosphere after two huge explosions rocked the Chinese port city of Tianjin.
At least 50 people have died and 700 injured after the blasts erupted at a warehouse for hazardous materials, leaving an apocalyptic landscape of incinerated cars, crumpled shipping containers and burnt-out buildings.
It is believed the warehouse contained at least 700 tonnes of sodium cyanide, a toxic chemical that can kill rapidly if inhaled, as well as other highly flammable and dangerous materials.
As chemical experts were sent to assess the scene, officials fuelled panic by refusing to say what was being stored or offering any explanation for the cause of the disaster.
The incident has raised questions – also as yet unanswered – about whether the materials had been properly stored.

Massive explosions at Tianjin, China kill seventeen people, injure hundreds

A massive explosion has rocked Tianjin, China killing seventeen people and injuring 400 others. Reports say that the blast was so powerful it created a mushroom cloud and triggered an earthquake that was felt up to six miles away.
State broadcaster CCTV reported that the blast — which created a huge mushroom cloud and triggered a quake that could be felt up to six miles away — happened at Tianjin Dongjiang Port Rui Hai International Logistics Co. Ltd., which handles the transport of hazardous goods.(Source)
Seven people were killed and hundreds were injured Wednesday night in two massive explosions caused by flammable goods at a container terminal in northern China’s Tianjin municipality.

They said the explosion have shattered windows doors, shook their apartment buildings and sent people to the streets. Some have reported chemical gas leaks.

The China Earthquake Networks Center reported that the first explosion had a 2.3 degree magnitude (equivalent to 3 tons of TNT), and the second had a 2.9 degree magnitude(equivalent to 21 tons of TNT).

WARNING- Obama’s De-growth Agenda is here

August 10, 2015
Obama’s De-growth Agenda
The coal industry is facing its toughest challenge since The Great Depression of 1929. The collapse in coal prices and a growing weight from new regulations has claimed dozens of firms. In just recent months, three major coal producers have filed for bankruptcy.
Alpha Natural Resources operates more than fifty underground and surface mines in five states. It is the nation’s largest producer of the type of coal used in steel production. In 2011, Alpha Natural Resources was worth $11 billion in stock value. The firm is now worth less than $7 million.
Peabody Energy Corporation, is the largest private-sector coal company in the world. In 2011, its stock traded as high as $73 per share. Today, you can buy a share in company with one single dollar.
This apocalypse in coal could have been predicted by anyone who read President Barack Obama’s views on the industry. On January 17, 2008, Obama made known his hostility toward, of all things, electricity generated from coal and coal-powered plants. He told the San Francisco Chronicle,“You know, when I was asked earlier about the issue of coal . . . under my plan of a cap and trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket.”

The president is seeking to downsize America because he is a supporter of the de-growth agenda. This movement sees the reduction of production and consumption as a benefit to human well-being and the equity of the planet. It calls for a future where societies live within their ecological means, with open localized economies and resources more equally distributed through new forms of Democratic institutions. Obama thinks the U.S. takes too large a piece of the resource pie, so we need to cut back our demand.

The plans they have for us are not conspiracy theory, but fact. It is all down in black and white, not sequestered in some caliginous cabal in some Bilderberger basement somewhere.
The reality of what they plan is beginning to surface in snippets here and there. One of the Obama front men said a week or so ago that our air conditioners are a big part of the carbon emission problem because of the energy required to keep us cooled down to our comfort level. This is the best indicator I can think of to illustrate the shoe-leather issue as they begin walking all over us--without, it is most disgusting to have to say--any significant push-back from the people we elected to replace the other rascals in the 2012 midterm elections.

Carly Fiorina kicks Chris Matthew's donkey but good

Republican presidential contender Carly Fiorina has to be Chris Matthews's worst nightmare: a conservative who punches back hard and doesn't let Chris control the narrative during his interview. Consider this part of her interview on the August 6 edition of Hardball (video update forthcoming):

CHRIS MATTHEWS, host: You called Hillary Clinton a liar tonight on a number of occasions. Do you want to explain why you would use such a almost end-of-conversation term for your possible opponent next year?
CARLY FIORINA: Because it's true. You know, one of the things that I think people are tired of in politics and Republicans do it as well is we don't use common-sense language. We talk in sanitized sound bites. I don't but most politicians do. People are tired of sanitized sound bites and bumper sticker rhetoric. They want to have a conversation about the real issues. And by any standard common sense measure, Hillary Clinton has lied: about Benghazi, and about her emails, and about her server.

“Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh” (Matt. 25:13).

A lot of Christians have the idea that prophecy is like a treasure hunt: If you figure out the magic date, you’ll know when to expect the final day. In reality, prophecy is more like a dance marathon: As there are fewer people on the floor, the closer we are to the end. With apathy having become so rampant, we have a clear signal that the music is about to stop.
In the book of Matthew, Jesus told His disciples again and again that the hour of His return would be highlighted by a lack of awareness on the part of His followers. The Lord was so insistent about getting this point across, He repeated himself four times in the space of a few verses. He also included a story about the 10 virgins to illustrate the point of the surprise Rapture. We are the think not generation.

So, to now ask where is the outrage--either from embarrassment or from righteous anger--is likely far too late as the end approaches. When men kiss and do whatsoever they please in public, as gay pride brings society and culture to the point of being like it was in Sodom and Gomorrah--the day of prophetic fulfillment is upon us. Where is the rage against those of Planned Parenthood who flippantly speak of killing babies and selling their body parts--against those who are supposed to be trained to save lives but murder the innocent? Where is the resistance to those in government and in the pulpits who condone the sacrifice of children upon the altars of abortion--who are plunging America into the same abyss that the ancients went, burning infants in the red-hot hands of the idol Moloch?

Not only has America forgotten how to blush, it is a nation that has forgotten the God of Heaven who gave mankind the good sensibility to know when and when not to blush. Jeremiah the prophet, again, has something to present about God's reaction to such complete rejection by any people: "I will surely consume them, saith the LORD: there shall be no grapes on the vine, nor figs on the fig tree, and the leaf shall fade; and the things that I have given them shall pass away from them" (Jeremiah 8:13).
The only hope for America--and for the world for that matter--is for God's people to follow His spiritual prescription for healing this land.
